Two more photographic books are forthcoming. The first, Real Redheads au Naturel … at Home!, is set for release in late 2009, and following that, Beauty Revealed is scheduled for release in 2010. Harke is also a prolific writer. “I have written two novels. The first, titled Lock Knot, is a spy thriller set during World War II. The second, On Hell's Doorstep, is an epic drama involving murder, romance, twists of fate, and a graphic and realistic presentation of the Great Depression during the 1930s, along with the notorious outlaws of the era. The third book, well underway has a working title of Episodes. Set in 1978, it involves a series of murders on the High Plains during a period of changes and intense social unrest in the middle of America." Harke’s novels are fiction laced with factual and historical events bringing a presence to the forefront that engulfs the reader. He is a member of the Professional Photographers of America, the National Association of Photoshop Professionals, MOCA DC Art Gallery in Georgetown, the Fairfax Art League, the Del Ray Artisans, the Public Relations Society of America and the American Society of Association Executives. He is a frequent exhibitor at art galleries and book fairs in both Chicago and Washington, D.C. has a permanent exhibit on display at Cafe Tatti in McLean, Virginia.
